Adding a User
TIP: Login as a Supervisor to access these features.
Three things must be done to implement security in ComSystemsPro for a New User.
| 1. | First, set up your user groups. Take some time to organize groups of users by department or job function. |
| 2. | Second, add your users. Assign every user a Login and Password. |
| 3. | Third, define screen access levels. |

Open the Company Setup window. Select Browse System Users.
Setting-up User Groups

Create a name for the Group. Set the Default Access for the Group. Set the Level to Operator. All users that you create for this Group will have the same security settings.

Adding a User
Select the ORDER BY OPERATOR Tab and select [Insert] or the [Change] button to edit an existing user.
This screen contains the details about the operators including their name, surname, login code and access level. The access level applies to this security area only, in all other areas new users will automatically be set to the level of No Access. You will need to enter each of those areas in turn in order to set the user to a different level. If the user is set to the level of Operator, within this area, then you can also specify the starting screen access rights that the operator will have. This takes the form of a pop down list with the names of other defined operators. Thus you can equate the starting access rights of a new operator with the current access rights of another operator. The options All Access and No Access are also on this list. When a new user is first defined his password is automatically set to the same as the login code. The user should obviously change this password after she/he has logged into the program.

Enter First Name and Surname/last name. The Login is also the first password.
